I wonder if I am the only one that sees irony, or worse, of a President of an oil exporting country visiting a poverty-stricken island for medical treatment.

Good news, a woman has been chosen as head of the IMF, it is way overdue. Bad news that the Europeans had it sewn up. Bad governance!

Actually, #Libya does not reject the ICC's indictments, #Gadaffi and his family does. Not the same thing! http://bit.ly/ku2Eiw

#China Prime Minister to Europeans: if you want my money, shut up

I suppose that local celebrations in #Libya at the ICC indictments of #Gadaffi and his son is not foreign interference. http://bit.ly/if7OkW

Hu Jia is released, after having been detained prior to the Beijing Olympic Games. The Chinese Prime Minister's visit to Europe is giving Hu Jia a few days outside of prison. He will be back in jail when the trip is over. #China has not changed.

What's up with the President of #Venezuela who doesn't dare to suffer his health system? His poor people don't have the choice to go elsewhere. With so many petrodollars coming in, doesn't he feel shame?

Qué pasa con el sistema médico de #Venezuela que ni su Presidente quiere sufrirlo. Su pobre pueblo no tiene esa oportunidad. Con tantos ingresos petroleros, ¿no le dará vergüenza?

We need to eliminate this oligopoly. These companies control the global grain market with those higher and rising prices and they still don't pay their taxes. http://bit.ly/kC99Km

Does anyone believe that it is a coincidence that China releases artist Ai Weiwei at the same time as Premier Wen Jiabao is to visit Hungary, the UK and Germany?

What's up with French politicians and rape charges? http://bbc.in/lEBR5f
#Bahrain has just convicted freedom demonstrators. Just like thugs running the country to think their legal manoeuvres will convince anyone.
Chinese artist Ai Weiwei was required to admit his sins, as is the way with the thugs in China. Doesn't mean anything so why not do it. http://tgr.ph/k550kK
Facebook is going into China and, as is usual with them, they will go in without a clear ethics strategy and change as they go along, just what the Chinese authorities love to see. They will run rings around Facebook. Human Rights Watch have it right but will probably not even receive an answer to their open letter. Expect more bad governance from Facebook! http://bit.ly/lhGnXk

Bad news, Sepp Blatter won his vote to head the Fifa politburo. The only candidate, corruption endemic…all under his mandate. Fifa officials should be ashamed of themselves! Where were governments when they were needed?

Why are the governments so quiet on the FIFA corruption debate. Football receives too many exemptions already, are also they exempt from the laws of corruption and social responsibility as well?
